Mabel was survived by her sons: Uvaldo Cordova her caregiver for the last seven years, Lucas Cordova (wife Berlin) of Tierra Azul, New Mexico; daughters: Corine Lange (husband K.O.) of Rio Rancho, New Mexico; Gloria De Arment (husband Paul) of Greenville, Pennsylvania; Alicia Pedroncelli (husband Robert) of Albuquerque, New Mexico; 21 grandchildren; 26 great-grandchildren; five great-great-grandchildren; brother Mariano Maestas (wife Estella) of Chili; sisters: Clora Archuleta (husband Juan) of Chamita; sisters: M. Felicia of Saint Michaels, Arizona; Celia Barela (husband Rocky) of Santa Fe; and other family and friends.
A Rosary was held at Holy Family Catholic Church in Albuquerque on June 17, 2005. Mass of Christian Burial was at Sacred Heart Catholic Church in Española on June 18, 2005. Burial of her cremains was in Chili Cemetery.
