Glydana Askey Ammons, age 63, formerly of Madison, died on Thursday morning, December, 1989 at Park West Hospital, Knoxvllle, TN. She was of the Baptist faith.

Surviving are her husband, Joe Ammons; daughter, Nancy (Michael) Malhelro and grandson, Joe Malhelro all of Knoxvllle; son, Michael (Leslie) Ammons and grandchildren, Michael and Meredith Ammons all of Cederburg, WI; brothers, Dewayne (Nedra) Askey of Sauk City, WI, Edward (Jane) Askey of Madiso and William Askey of Madison; and mother-in-law, Kathryh Harper of Kingston, TN.

Interment will be at Highland Memorial Cemetery, Knoxvllle, TN.

Announcement is made today by Mr. and Mrs. Roy H. Askey, of the engagement of their daughter, Glydana Wilma, to Corp. Joe L. Ammons, son of Mrs. J. P. Harper of Chattanooga, TN.

Miss Askey is employed in the office of the Oscar Mayer Co, Corp. Ammons is a graduate of the radio school at Truax Field and is now stationed at the Tomah, radio school. Miss Askey and her fiance have not made any definite wedding plans.
