Roy H Askey, 70, of 437 Falcon Circle, died unexpectedly today a Madison hospital.
He had been security officer at Oscar Mayer and Co. here prior to retirement.
Funeral rites were be arranged at me Gunderson Funeral Home, 5203 Monona Dr. here.

Two sons and a son-in-law of Mr. and Mrs. Roy H. Askey, Route 4, are serving in the Army Air Forces.
One son, Pvt. Edward Askey, recently returned to West Palm Beach, Fla., after spending a Christmas furlough with his wife and two sons at 2818 Union st. A former employe of the Ray-O-Vac Co., Pvt. Edward has been stationed at Palm Beach with the military police ever since his induction in January, 1943.
The other son, Corp. William Askey, is now stationed in Burma and just recently was advanced to his present rank of technician fifth grade. Previously he was stationed in Africa and India with the engineers. Also a former Ray-O-Vac employe, he was inducted on Feb. 17, 1943, and was
stationed in the States for 10 months.
The son-in-law, Sgt. Joe L. Ammons, is somewhere in France.
He was inducted Dec. 7, 1942, at Chattanooga, Tenn., his home, and went overseas 15 months later. As a radio-man in a bomber squadron, he was stationed in England four months before going to France. His wife, the former Glydana Askey, is residing with her parents.
