Lou was was an amazingly giving man and the expression "he had a huge heart" would be a great way to describe him. One would never know that he had been saddled in life since childhood with a weak heart.

He was blessed in life with an abundance of riches starting with his movie star looks, which were often compared to those of Rory Calhoun and Dean Martin. He had the quickest wit, the greatest smile and laugh, the firmest handshake, the best story teller, the most beautiful wife, a handsome, successful son and a beautiful, funny, adoring daughter; not to mention the additional blessings of a beautiful and caring daughter-in-law and a handsome, successful son-in-law and three smart, handsome grandsons.

Uncle Lou was loved by everyone, the true sign of a life well lived.
