Andrew was the son of George Young (born about 1802 in Scotland) and Lucy LNU (born about 1807 New Jersey). He married Drucilla Curtis 15 Mar 1854 and they are known to have had at least 4 sons, George, Andrew, John and Richard. Both Andrew and Drucilla died between 1861 and 1870. They are most likely buried inthe Simms Cemetery. John Simms being Drucilla's grand-uncle and the guardian of their orphaned children.
