B D Young was the son of Andrew Young and Drucilla Curtis. He was never married and was employed as an oilfield worker. His nephew Alvin Young was informant on his death certificate but did not know his date of birth. His mother was a niece by marriage of John M Simms and when the Youngs died John Simms took the youngest child into his home and his daughter Sophia raised his brother John Milbourne Young. It is not surprising to find him buried among the Simms.
