Alice Marie Stark Beshirs, 78, of the Georgia community, went to be with her Lord and Savior on Friday, April 8, 2016 at Paris Regional Medical Center. She was born July 5, 1937 in Aransas Pass, Texas, a daughter of Earnest R. and Joyce M. Hickman Stark.
She was a homemaker and a member of Leslie Chapel Pentecostal Church. She married J.M. Beshirs on September 14, 1953.
She was preceded in death by her parents, two brothers Jack Stark and Elmer Stark and a sister Nora Stark Walker.
She is survived by her husband J.M. Beshirs, children Gerald Beshirs and wife Joanne, David Beshirs and wife Tina, Billy Beshirs and wife Teresa and Glynn Beshirs and wife Kathy, grandchildren Gerald Jr. and wife Jodie, Angie and husband Jason Stephens, Amanda and husband Brian Scott, Jennifer Williams, Falon Pilkington and husband Michael, all of Paris, Texas, David Jr. and wife Amy Beshirs of Tyler, Texas, Jeremy and wife Kendra Beshirs of Reno, Texas, Elizabeth Beshirs of Paris, Texas, Robert Beathard of Paris, Texas, Amanda and husband Neil Brotherton of Groesbeck, Texas, Billy Jr. Beshirs of Sumner, Texas, Lona and husband Richard Dawkins of Ft. Funeral services will be conducted at 10:00 a.m. Tuesday, April 14, 2016 in the Leslie Chapel Pentecostal Church with Rev. David Farmer and Rev. Clayton Wagner officiating. Burial will follow in the Georgia Cemetery. Services under the direction of Fry-Gibbs Funeral Home, Paris, Texas.
