Mary Ellen Burns, 101, of Killen died April 12, 2014, at Glenwood Healthcare.
Visitation will be Wednesday, April 16, 2014, from 11 AM to 1 PM at Killen United Methodist Church. Funeral services will follow at 1 PM, with Bro. Bryan McIntyre officiating. Burial will be at Killen Cemetery.
Mrs. Burns was a member of Killen United Methodist Church.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Robert Burns; brothers, Boyce Crowe, Howard Crow, and Leslie Crow; sisters, Princess Roberts and Mildred Stutts; parents, William Coleman and Mattie Lee Crow.
Mrs. Burns is survived by her sons, Kenneth Burns (Glenda) and David Burns (Brenda); grandchildren, Robert Burns (Amber), Cortney Burns, Brad Burns (Karen), and Jessica Brown (Scotty); great-grandchildren, D.J. Biggs, Breanna Biggs, Sadie Cassell, Lilly Burns, Connor Burns, and Chloe Burns; several nieces and nephews.
The family would like to express their thanks to the staff at The Hilltop and Glenwood Rehabilitation Center.
In lieu of flowers, you are asked to make donations to the Killen United Methodist Church Building Fund.
