Margaret Virginia Miller Hess Bowman, 83, Martinsburg, passed away on Monday, August 6, 2012 at the Canterbury Center.
Born October 15, 1928, in Hedgesville, she was the daughter of the late Milton Monroe Miller and Eva Barrick Miller.
She is survived by three sons, Gary Wayne "Butch" Hess and wife, Sharon, Marvin J. Hess II and wife, Lisa, Timothy S. Bowman and wife, Susan; three daughters, Shirley J. McDaniel and husband, Terry, Darla K. Parrill and husband, David, and Stacie E. Rohn and husband, Rick; son-in-law, Bill Albright; 17 grandchildren; 25 great-grandchildren; three great-great-grandchildren; two brothers, Milton M. Miller, Jr., and Kenneth W. Miller; one sister, Frances Poole; and many nieces and nephews.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her first husband, Marvin J. Hess; and second husband, Warren C. Bowman; a son, Brian Bowman; a daughter, Marilyn "Jane" Albright; and a brother, Clifford Miller.
Funeral services will be held at 11:00 a.m., Thursday, August 9, 2012, at Brown Funeral Home with the Rev. Jerry Lowans officiating. Interment will be in Butlers Chapel Cemetery.
The family will receive friend from7:00 p.m. to 9:00 p.m., Wednesday, August 8th, at the funeral home.
