Mrs. Frances Miller Poole, 83, of Hedgesville, died Sunday at her home.

Mrs. Poole, born in Berkeley County, was the daughter of the late Milton and Eva Barrick Miller and the widow of Douglas "Popeye" Poole. In addition to her husband and parents, she was also preceded in death by three children, Eva Jane Poole, Deborah K. Poole and Clifford E. Poole, three grandchildren, Hope Marie Poole, Danyele Stout and Billy J. Poole, two brothers, Clifford Miller and Milton Miller, Jr; and one sister, Margaret Bowman.

She enjoyed spending time outdoors and loved fishing. She loved and enjoyed spending time with her grandchildren.

She is survived by a daughter, Linda Strobidge and husband Larry, a daughter-in-law, Debbie Poole; grandchildren, Kevin Wood and wife Sandi, Becky Smith, Eva Kirby, Crystal Longerbeam and husband Phillip, Cressie Poole, Kathy Redou and husband James, and Britney Poole; sixteen great grandchildren; two step great grandchildren; two great great grandchildren; two step great great grandchildren; one brother, Kenneth Miller and wife Pam; two sisters-in-law, Joan and Barbara Miller; and very special daughter and family, Tammy, Tony and Bubba; a very special friend, Darlene Slonaker and family, and a number of nieces and nephews.

The family received friends 6-8 pm, Tuesday, March 1, 2016 and one hour prior services on Wednesday at the funeral home.

The funeral services were held at 11 am, Wednesday, March 2, 2016 at the Brown Funeral Home Chapel in Martinsburg with Pastor Denny Rhoe officiating.

Burial was made in Snyders Bible Chapel Church Cemetery, Morgan County.
