Rozetta McMurphy --- Rozetta McMurphy, a lifetime resident of the Sterling area, died July 25 at the Presbyterian Manor at the age of 89. She was born Rozetta Dembo Jan 13, 1889, at Carden, Indiana and was married to Luther A. McMurphy Nov 26, 1906 at Lyons. He died March 9, 1995. She was a member of the Methodist Church and Modern Priscilla Club. --Survivors include sons, Alonzo LeRoy, Nelvin R., Marvin H., and Glen W., all of Sterling; stepdaughter, Mrs. Mabel Humphreys, Sterling; daughter, Mrs. Hazel Tyler, Oklahoma City, Oklahoma; sisters, Mrs. Woody Coffin, Hutchinson, and Mrs. Rilla Vickers, Ellinwood; 22 grandchildren, 30 great-grandchildren and four great-great-grandchildren. --- Services will be held today, July 27, at 10:30 a.m. at the Porter and Sillin Funeral Home with the Rev.
