"Mrs. Bessie Mock of Lovilla and Wm. Watkins of this place were united in marriage by Rev. Purdy at Oskaloosa on Saturday afternoon. The ceremony was witnessed by Roy White. They remained over until Sunday and visited his daughter Mrs. Roy White in Oskaloosa. They will reside in the groom's residence on north Second Street."
