Melvin M. "Jack" Billings, Sr., 67, of Bartlett, TN, died Sunday, August 12, 2012 at his home.
He was retired from the G.E. Memphis Lamp Plant, a Baptist and an avid CB Operator. Mr. Billings is survived by his wife of 23 years, Brenda Billings; sons, Melvin M. Billings, Jr. (Kristi) of Brighton, TN and William "Jay" Billings (Christy) of Memphis, nine grandchildren, and several nieces and nephews.
He was preceded in death by his parents, three sisters and two brothers.
Visitation will be 6-8 p.m., Tuesday, August 14 at Forest Hill East Funeral Home. Services will be at 10 a.m., Wednesday at the funeral home, with interment to follow. Forest Hill East Funeral Home (901)382-1000
