Irma Jean Murphy, 74, of Memphis, died December 26, 2009 at her home. She was the widow of the late, Clarence Murphy. Mrs. Murphy is survived by three sons, C.E. (Linda) Murphy, Steve (Shelia) Murphy, Richard (Suzanne) Murphy; daughter, Cynthia (Randy) Hooker; brother, Jack (Brenda) Billings; sister-in-law, Annie Billings; nine grandchildren and six great-grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her daughter, Terry Lynn. Visitation will be 5-7 p.m. Monday, December 28 and service will be 10 a.m. Tuesday, December 29 at Forest Hill East Funeral Home with burial following. The family requests any memorials be sent to the American National Kidney Foundation.
