Anton passed from this world into the next January 11, 1994 in Belton, Bell County Texas and there he met his Lord face to face. He is also with his beloved Mary Jo Stone and baby Carl.
He was born July 23, 1903 in Washington County, Texas to Fred and Amelia (Emily) Haas Grimm. Anton moved to the Holland area and lived there for many years. He did some farming and later worked for manufacturing company in Belton, Bell County Texas. He retired from the manufacturing company and later in life married Pairlee Crawford on January 29, 1969. They made a very loving couple and enjoyed their last years together.
Anton had one child born to him and Mary Jo. The name given to his son was Carl Wayne. He was born July 25, 1940 and died July 27, 1940.
The story was told to me about Carl's birth and subsequent death. My Mother (Viola) and Father (Lee) were there for both events as was the doctor. There were problems with baby Carl from birth. Mother said he lived for a couple of days having problems breathing caused by hemorrhage of the brain. Mother said the doctor worked with him for a while and then told Mary and Anton he couldn't save little Carl. They held him until he died.
Anton had five brothers; Robert Ferdinand, Ferdinand Heinrich Richard, Richard Hugo, Louis William and Lee William. He had six sisters; Clara Tina, Elizabeth Adeline, Lydia Augusta, Esther Maria Anna, (Limmie) Emilie Charlotte Elise and Annita Emilie. He also had many nieces and nephews.
