TAYLOR COUNTY KENTUCKY STAR OBITUARY – 07/25/1935
Mrs. Hannah Barr, age 76 years, died Tuesday, July 16th, [1935] at her home in the Casey Creek community. She was united in marriage with Mr. J.M. Barr, June 13th, 1875, who preceded her to the grave 53 years later. She made a profession of faith in early life. She is survived by the following children, J.G. Barr, Mrs. Allie Greer, and Mrs. Dora Eastridge, of Casey Creek, T.R. Barr, of Mannsville, and Mrs. Bertha Holcomb, of Yuma. Two children preceded her to the grave. Funeral services were held at Mt. Zion last Thursday afternoon at 2:00 o'clock, conducted by Rev. J.L. Weaver. Burial was in the family cemetery.
