∼Virginia Pitman was born on August 29, 1937, in Clay County, Kentucky, the daughter of the late Ed and Matilda Lawson Smith. Virginia is survived by five children: Richard Clay Pitman of Annville, KY, Floyd Wilburn Pitman, Stephen Lee Pitman, Loyd Dale Pitman, and Clinton Dean Pitman. Virginia had by thirteen siblings: Geneva Smith, Mayola Eversole, and Jerry Smith all of East Bernstadt, Evadean Sturgill, Alvin and Earl Smith all of New Richmond, Ohio, Jackie Lee Gabbard of London, Ethel Smith of Felicity, Ohio and Calvin Smith of Liberty, Indiana, Felix Smith, Jean Delph, Sondra McGeorge and Bert Smith.
