Jerry M. Smith, age 61, of East Bernstadt, passed away Wednesday at St. Joseph – East in Lexington. He was the father of Shawn Smith and wife, Tracy, and Amy Bell and husband, Steve, all of East Bernstadt, and Adam Smith and wife, Terrie, of Summerville, Ohio, the brother of Genevia Smith and Maeola Eversole, both of East Bernstadt, Jackie Gabbard of London, Elvadean Sturgill of Georgetown, Ohio, Calvin Smith of Liberty, Indiana, Eithel Smith of Moscow, Ohio, and Earl Smith of New Richmond, Ohio.
Funeral services for Jerry M. Smith will be conducted at 2:00 PM Saturday at Laurel Chapel Baptist Church with Randall and Ronnie Eversole officiating. Burial will follow in the Smith Cemetery at East Bernstadt.
