St. Cloud Daily Times, Mon. Apr. 17, 1905, p. 4:2. LEAVES HUSBAND AND FAMILY. Mrs. Nicholas Weis Passes Away Sunday Following Long Illness-Funeral Tuesday. Sunday noon at the family residence on 1409 Fourth street north occurred the death bo Mrs. mary Weis, wife of Nicholas Weis, a well known carpenter employed at the Great Northern car shops. Death was due to a complication of heart and kidney trouble, and the deceased was ill for a number of weeks. Beside the husband, the deceased, who was in her 55th year, is survived by a family of five children and by four married sisters. Of the children, the oldest, a daughter, resides at Eden Valley, but was with her mother when the end came. The sisters are Mrs. M. Gans, Mrs. Jos. Rieder, and Mrs. L.P. Brick, St. Cloud, and Mrs. Frank Timmers, of St. Joseph. The funeral will be held Tuesday morning at 9 o'clock from the church of the Immaculate Conception and interment will be made at Calvary Cemetery.

Weis, wife of Nicholas Weis, whose death occurred Sunday at noontide, was held on Tuesday morning at 9 o'clock from the church of the Immaculate Conception. Fr. Gans, a nephew of the deceased officiated at the church and the cemetery. There was quite a large attendance of relatives and friends and neighbors and the floral offerings were beautiful. Following the ceremonies at the church, the remains were borne under escort and laid away on Calvary Hill. Mrs. Weis' death comes as a very severe loss to the family that survived, there being five children, besides the husband.
