St. Cloud Times, May 7, 1947, p. 12. Mrs. Frank Rothstein, 67, Eden Valley died at the Richmond hospital Tuesday at 3:10 p.m, as a result of burns sustained at her home April 27. Mrs. Rothstein (nee Mary Weis) was born in Cold Spring on July 1, 1879, the daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Nicholas Weis. For many years she lived at Clear Lake, where she was married Frank Rothstein of Eden Valley on Apr. 26, 1911. She spent all of her married life at Eden Valley. Two daughters and five sons survive. Mrs. James Flynn (Viola), Albany; Leonard, at home; Mrs. Richard Rhinehart (Evelyn), Harold, Leo and Lawrence of Eden Valley, and Herbert, Santa Cruz CA. She also leaves two sisters and one brother, Mrs. Rein Kilgard, Clear Lake; Mrs. Harry Heurkens, Hayward CA and P.A. Weis, Sartell. She was the mother of four sons and one son-in-law in service, who have been discharged. Mr. Rothstein died in December 1945. Funeral services will be held at 9 a.m. Friday at the Assumption church in Eden Valley with burial in the Eden Valley cemetery.
