Robert R. Arensberg, 65, of Portersville, loving husband, father and grandfather, went to be with the Lord on Saturday.
He was born Aug. 24, 1946, in Pittsburgh and was the son of Audrey and the late Paul Arensberg Sr.
Robert enjoyed night fishing with his beloved dog, Sassy.
He worked as a carpenter most of his life and loved remodeling homes.
He attended the Portersville Bible Church.
He will be sadly missed by his wife, Edna Arensberg, who he married in 1979; his children, Robert Arensberg Jr. (Jennifer), Ryan Arensberg (Kristen), Tammy Thomas (Harry), Linda McCue (Vince), Loretta Sacco (Jon) and Charles Whaley; 15 grandchildren; four great-grandchildren; two sisters, Joyce Kassauf (Rich) and Audrey Maffei (Michael); two brothers, Paul Arensberg (Bernie) and James Arensberg; a niece; and four nephews.
ARENSBERG - Visitation for Robert R. Arensberg, who died Saturday, Sept. 17, 2011, will be from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m. Tuesday at the Bryan Funeral Home, 443 Main St., Prospect. Funeral services will be at 11 a.m. Wednesday at the funeral home with the Rev. Michael Charles of the Portersville Bible Church officiating. Burial will be private.
In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the Butler VNA Hospice or to the Portersville Bible Church.
