He was born in Pittsburgh PA on April 26 1922 to the late Rutherford and Emily Klein Arensberg.
Paul attended South Hills High School near Pittsburgh and was a self-employed as a carpenter.
He served in the United States Army during World War II, and was a member of Mountville Presbyterian Church near Portersville. Paul enjoyed fishing as a hobby.
He is survived by his wife of 67 years, Audrey M. Luff Arensberg, whom he married March 28 1942.
He is also survived by three sons, two daughters-in-law; two daughters and two sons-in-law: Paul R. (and Bernadette) Arensberg Jr.; Robert Roy (and Edna) Arensberg; and James H. Arensberg, all of Portersville; Joyce Ann (and Richard) Kassouf of Gibbon Glade PA; and Audrey M. (and Michael) Maffei, of South Park PA.
Thirteen grandchildren survive as well as seventeen great grandchildren.
One brother, and sister-in-law, Rutherford S. (and Catherine) Arensberg, of Pittsburgh, also survive. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by five sisters and six brothers.
Friends will be received from 2-4 and 7-9 P.M. on Monday, August 10 in the TURNER FUNERAL HOME OF ELLWOOD CITY, Sixth Street at Park Avenue.
Additional visitation will be on Tuesday morning, August 11, from 10-11 A.M. at his church. Services will be conducted in the Mountville Presbyterian Church on Tuesday at 11:00 A.M. with his pastor, the Rev. Don Hurray, officiating. Burial will follow in the Mountville Church Cemetery.
