Lydia Ann Marks was the daughter of Watts Marks, Jr. and Docia Delilah Bennett. She was known as Liddie Ann. She was buried as Liddie Ann Paschall with her husband James Redden Paschall in the Laurel Oaks Memorial Park in Mesquite, Dallas County, Texas. Liddie Ann died December 1, 1948. The following obituary incorrectly stated she was buried in the Mesquite Cemetery.

Mesquite, Dec 2, - Funeral services were to be held at 3 p.m. Thursday at McCullough Funeral Chapel for Mrs. J. R. Paschall, 71, descendant of Mesquite pioneers, who died at her home here Wednesday. / Rev. Fred Broyles, pastor of the Mesquite First Methodist Church, will officiate, with burial in the Mesquite Cemetery. / Mrs. Paschall's grandparents settled on a farm near Mesquite in 1845 and she was born and reared on a farm near Mesquite. / Surviving are her husband and four sons, Pearl, Kinley, Omar and Cliff Paschall, all of Mesquite; six grandchildren, two great grandchildren, one brother and one sister.

VPB Note: Son Pearl was actually Purl Paris Paschall. He and his wife Brucie Lee Fentrell are also buried in Laurel Oaks Memorial Park.
