Edith Furrow was born in Ohio, March 10, 1852, the daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Jesse Furrow, she came to Burlington to make her home when 12 years old. Fifty six years ago she was united in marriage with Mr. Hartman.
Surviving are her husband; five sons, Arthur A. Hartman, Fred W. Hartman, Joseph A. Hartman and William J. Hartman of Burlington and Jesse H. Hartman of Carman, IL; two daughter, Mrs. F. F. Franklin of Valley Junction, Iowa and Mrs. Charles Anderson of Cicero, IL. Also surviving are 27 grandchildren and one great grandchild.
Mrs. Hartman was a member of the Christian church where funeral services will be held Sunday afternoon at 2:30 o'clock preceded by short services at the Burnett-Wallen funeral home with burial in Aspen Grove cemetery.
