Along with the brother, surviving are the widow, Elizabeth Brady Ball; a son, Major E. Arthur Ball, who is on duty in North Africa; three daughters, Mrs. Alvin M. Owsley, Mrs. Fred J. Petty, and Mrs. Alexander M. Bracken; seven grandchildren, George Alexander Ball II, Thomas David Owsley, Alvin M. Owsley Jr., Edmund F. Petty, Thomas Bracken, Frank Alexander Bracken, and William McKnight Bracken; and five granddaughters, Constance Owsley, Dorothy Ann Ball, Barbara Helen Ball, Marjorie Petty, and Elizabeth Ann Bracken.
The body was removed to the Meeks Mortuary. Funeral services will be conducted Sunday at 3 p.m. at the First Presbyterian Church by the Reverend Lewis W. Gishler. The body will be interred in the family mausoleum in Beech Grove Cemetery. Friends may call at the home Saturday from 11 a.m. to 8 p.m.
