Francis Hammett, 98, Dies in Marysville.
Francis Willard Hammett, 98, died Thursday at the home of his daughter, Mrs. Lee Barney, on a farm near Marysville. He would have been 99 November 30.
He was born in Sparland, Ill., and came to Marshall County when he was 10. In addition to the daughter with whom he lived, he is survived by another daughter, Mrs. O. N. Bray, three sons, 10 grandchildren, and 19 great-grandchildren.
Funeral services and burial will be at Marysville.
