NEWARK – Carlos N. Leas, 69, formerly of Coshocton, died Wednesday in Newark Inn Convalescence and Nursing Home following a long illness.
Born in Bedford Township, he was a son of the late Edgar and Mamie Norris Leas. He retired in 1969 from Owens Corning Glass Co. He was a member of the former Blooming Grove Methodist Church and the Newark Moose Lodge.
Surviving are three sisters and two brothers, Mrs. Allen (Ruby) Fox of Ashland. Mrs. Alice Stapleton of New Philadelphia, Mrs. Clarice Lonsinger of RD 1, Nashport, Donald of Canton and Clyde of Wooster. A sister preceded him in death.
Services will be held at 1:30 Saturday in Fischer Funeral Home at Warsaw. Burial will be in Valley View Cemetery. Friends may call Friday from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 and Saturday until 1:30 at the funeral home.
