J. L. Richards died Wednesday Night.
J. L. Richards, age 65, a well know citizen of this city, died at his home here about 12:00. He suffered a stroke of paralysis at his home Monday afternoon which caused his death.
Remains will be buried in the Dollarhide Cemetery today.
Mr. Richards is survived by his wife, Emily and six children all of whom are here to attend the funeral.
Children are:
Mrs. P. T. (Phenia) Wallace, Mrs. H.T. (Ola) Cornelius, Jr., Amarillo, TX. William M. Richards, Tulsa, OK; Lee Richards and Claud Richards, Ada, OK; and Wilford Pat Richards, Hugo, OK.
Also survived by 2 sisters and several brothers. His sisters reside in Georgia.
Mr. Richards is a native of Georgia, but left the state a young man.
