Henry D. Richter son of Leopold and Margaret Richter.Henry D. Richter married Annie Hayek on Febrary 16,1905.

Last Rites Held For H.J.[sic] Richter, Native of County

Funeral services were held yesterday at 3 p.m. at St. Paul's Lutheran Church for Henry J.[sic] Richter,89,retired farmer and life long resident of Colorado county.He was a member of the Lutheran church and Rev.H.L. Anderson officiated.

Mr.Richter suffered a heart attack at his home on Route 2,Columbus,Sunday and was taken to Columbus hospital where he died Monday morning at 4:20.He was born at Frelsburg,a son of Leopold and Margaret Ritchter.Feb.16,1905 he was married to Annie Hayek at Colorado count courthouse with Judge J.J. Mansfield performing the ceremony.

Survivors besides his widow are his 4 sons,Connie of Wharton,Lester and Louis of Columbus,Ernest of New Ulm;and a daughter,Mrs.C.R. New,also of Columbus;and 18 grandchildren.A son,Adolph,died in a traffic accident in 1950.

Pallbearers were Waco Kansteiner,Conrad Bertsch,E.J. Bertsch,Herbert Haverlah,Bobby Richter and Arthur Stancik.

Interment was in Odd Fellows Rest cemetery under the direction of Untermeyer Funeral home.
