Connie L. Richter son of Henry D. and Annie Richter.Connie L. Richter married Regina Sophie Noska on February 20,1940.

Connie L. Richter,83,of Wharton,passed away June 26,at Gulf Coast Medical Center in Wharton.

He was born April 27,1919 in Columbus to Henry and Annie (Hayek) Richter.

On Feb. 20,1940,he married the late Regina Noska Richter.

Richter served in the U.S. Army during World War II and was a member of Holy Family Catholic Church in Wharton and the Knights of Columbus in Wharton.He was a heavy equipment operator for the Texas Highway Department.

He is preceded in death by his parents;his wife;daughter-in-law Terri Richter;two infant grandchildren;three bothers,Adolph Richter,Ernest Richter and Lester Richter and sister Leona New.

He is survived by daughter and son-in-law Eunice Marie "Neisy" and Matthew Crisp of Beeville;son Edward L. Richter of Wharton;grandchildren Dayna Kay Richter,Troy Lee Richter and Donovan Matthew Crisp and brother Louie Richter of Lone Oak.

Funeral services were held Saturday,June 29 at St. Peter and Paul Catholic Church in Frelsburg with Father Wayne Flagg officiating.Interment followed at St. Peter and Paul Catholic Church in Wharton [Frelsburg].

Serving as pallbearers were Leonard Richter,"Butch" Lester Richter Jr.,Leroy Richter,Chester Matula,Heath Mitchell and Curtis Vasut.
