Lelend (Leland) H. Morey

A four year resident of Mesa, Leland (Leland) H. Morey of 550 N. Orange died in his home yesterday evening.

A native of Ashtabula Harbor, Ohio, Mr. Morey was a retired truck dispatcher for Beiter Truck Line in Elyria, Ohio.

He was a member of Mesa Elks Lodge No. 1781, and the First Methodist Church of Elyria.

Private graveside services will be at 10 a.m. tomorrow at Mesa Cemetery, with Rev. Jack Troutman of Grace Methodist Church officiating.

Survivors include his wife Helen; one son, Oliver F. of Mesa, and two daughters, Mrs. George Harrison of Elyria and Mrs. Robert Beres (Veres) of Mesa; 13 grandchildren and 1 great-grandchild; his mother, Mrs. Hilma Morey of Lakeworth, Fla., and two sisters out of state.

Melcher Mortuary made arrangements. Mr. Morey was a retired dispatcher for the Beiter Truck Lines in Elyria, Ohio. He was a member of the First Methodist Church there and Mesa Elks Lodge 1781. He was born in Ashtabula, Ohio, and moved to Mesa in 1965. Survivors include his- wife, Helen; a son, Oliver F. of Mesa; two daughters, Mrs. Robert Veres of Mesa and Mrs. George Harrison of Elyria; his mother, Mrs. Hilma Morey of Lake Worth, Fla.; two sisters out of state; 13 grandchildren and one great-grandchild
