SAYBROOK - Earl L. Morey, 75, widely known Saybrook Center barber for 20 years, died at his home here Tuesday following a stroke.

Mr. Morey had been actively engaged in his work until he was taken ill about three weeks ago.

Born in Saybrook (error born in Madison, Lake County, Ohio) 18 August 1876. Mr. Morey had been a life-long resident here. He was married to Hilma Jackson on 12 June 1902 at Ashtabula.

Besides his wife he is survived by two daughters, Mrs. Clifford Krause of St. Petersburg, Florida and Mrs. Reino Taskinen of Ashtabula, two sons, Leland of Elyria and Jackson Morey of Saybrook. 14 grandchildren and two great grandchildren.

Funeral services will be held at the Myron Hahn Funeral, Prospect Road, Ashtabula Thursday at 2 p.m. with Rev. John Clark of the Saybrook Methodist Church officiating. Burial will be in the Saybrook Cemetery.

Friends may call at the funeral home tonight from 7 to 9.
