Geneva Man Killed on Rt. 20
GENEVA --- Jackson F. Morey, 39, a Geneva resident of Route 20, was killed at 9:20 p.m. Wednesday when he was struck by a car while crossing Route 20. The accident occurred one mile east of Geneva Village.
Driver of the car which struck Mr. Morey was William H. Kujanpa, 17, of Ashtabula.
State Highway Patrolmen, who investigated the accident, state that the victim was attempting to cross the highway from the south side to the north side when he was struck.
Rushed to Geneva, Memorial Hospital by ambulance. Mr. Morey was pronounced dead on arrival at the hospital.
Ashtabula County Coroner C.C. Roller listed the cause of death as a crushed left chest and crushed clavicle.
The death of Mr. Morey marked the 14th traffic fatality of 1955 in Ashtabula County
