newspaper article, Gonzales Tribune,
Saturday, March 15, 1902:
"Double Wedding"
"Last Monday morning the Gonzales Catholic Church was the scene of a very pretty double wedding when Rev. Father Garriga united in the holy bonds of wedlock Thomas Biscarro to Miss Mary Perez and Daniel Biscarro to Miss Lucia Soberanes. In the evening the Gonzales Hall was engaged and they and a large number of friends whiled away the hours in dancing and a late hour a delicious wedding supper was served at the home of Mr. and Mrs. Mike Perez. The Tribune joins their friends in wishing them much happiness and hopes that their troubles will be only little ones."
