Adrian "Jack" Allen, age 72, of Maryville, passed away Sunday, May 31, 2009 at St. Mary's Residential Hospice in Knoxville. He was a veteran of the U.S. Army and preceded in death by his parents, Oliver and Ivy Allen; son, Christopher Allen; brothers, Donnie Allen, Gearld Allen. Survivors include his wife, Nancy Jane Allen; sons and daughters in law, Burdette and Lisa Allen of Maryville, and Gerald and Dana Allen of Oklahoma; grandchildren, Randy Ogle, Melanie Ogle, Daniel Allen and Alexandria Allen; brothers, Delbert Allen of Illinois, Emery Eckel of Texas, Rocky Allen and Ricky Allen both of Illinois, sisters, Wilma Burton of Arizona, Edna Brady, Lula Belle Allen, Elsie Allen, and Sue Allen all of Illinois; sisters in law, Mary Allen of Maryville and Joyce Allen of Texas; and several nieces and nephews. Family and friends will meet at 1:30 PM Tuesday, June 2, 2009 at Tennessee Veterans Cemetery in Knoxville for the graveside service and interment, Rev. Danny Overholt officiating.
