Mrs. Theresa A. Stallbaumer, 85, Seneca, KS, died Friday, February 3, 1989, at a Seneca Hospital.

She was born July 14, 1903, on a farm north of Seneca, the daughter of Anton and Mary Sudbeck Fangman. She attended St. Mary's School at St. Benedict, KS.

She was a member of Sts. Peter and Paul Catholic Church at Seneca, and St. Ann's Altar Society at the Church.

She married Walter Stallbaumer on August 9, 1928, at St. Benedict, KS. They farmed northwest of St. Benedict until 1978, when they retired and moved to Seneca. He survives.

Other survivors are daughters, Edith Deters, Centralia, KS; Blanche Haug, Abilene, KS; Joan Steinlage, Goff, KS; Anna Marie Hiestand, Morehead, MN; sons, James E. Stallbaumer, Seneca, KS; Patrick Stallbaumer, Topeka, KS; Edward Stallbaumer, Topeka, KS; Kenneth Stallbaumer, Oconto, NE; sister, Elizabeth Deters, Seneca, KS; brother, Paul Fangman, Seneca, KS; 44 grandchildren and 19 great-grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by her parents; son Clarence Stallbaumer on August 15, 1945; daughter, Theresa Marie Stallbaumer on January 31, 1943.

Mass of Christian Burial was held at Sts. Peter and Paul Catholic Church, Seneca, KS. Burial was in St. Mary's Catholic Cemetery, St. Benedict, KS.
