EDGERTON--Carl Dorn, 70, of rural La Farge, a retired farmer and former area resident, died Tuesday at Vernon Memorial Hospital, Viroqua, after a heart attack earlier. He was born Dec. 5, 1905, near Edgerton, where he was married to Laura Fiedler Nov. 6, 1929. They farmed in the Fulton area for many years. She died in 1955. Mr. Dorn was married to Helen Silbough of La Farge Aug. 13, 1966, and had lived there since his marriage. He was a member of Fulton Congregational Church. Surviving are his wife; a son; two daughters; four grandchildren; a brother, and a sister. Services in La Farge are at 11 a.m. Friday in United Methodist Church. Friends may call Thursday at the Johnson Funeral Home. Services in Edgerton are at 1 p.m. Saturday in Bruni Funeral Home, with visitation from 7 to 9 p.m. Friday at the funeral home. Burial will be in Fassett Cemetery, Edgerton.
