Margaret Elaine (Dorn) Kildow, age 84 passed away on February 5, 2018 at Edgerton Care Center after a short illness. She was born in rural Edgerton on September 10, 1933 to Carl and Laura Dorn. Growing up on her parents’ dairy farms in Porter Township, she attended the Eagle one-room school house, and graduated from Edgerton High School in 1951. She worked at various jobs after graduation including Parker Pen in Janesville, WI. She married in 1953. After her husband finished his tour of duty as a Sea Bee in the Navy, she moved to Milton with him, where she lived the rest of her life. Margaret was employed over 20 years for Milton Ace Hardware, then retired. She also spent 18 years volunteering as a quilter with the Milton Gathering Place Quilters. She enjoyed sewing quilt tops with the ‘Quilters’, and the quilts were all donated to local organizations for those in need. She also knitted countless hats which were donated to those who needed warm hats.
Margaret is survived by her husband, Daughter, a son and their families and a brother. She was preceded in death by her parents, a sister Delores Hinton, and Grandson Bruce Kildow. Funeral Services will be Saturday February 10, 2018 at 11:00 am at the Albrecht Funeral Homes & Cremation Services, Milton. Cemetery details: Milton Junction Cemetery.
