Sarah Ann Rebekah Crow was born Jan. 18, 1854 in the new home, near Minden, LA. She attended Minden College. She was married to Mr. John Melton Shawver of Royse, Texas in May 1890. Two children were born to them. One died young, the little girl. Mr. Shawver died Nov. 1901. His widow then moved to Terrell, Texas and bought a nice home.
