Margaret Lou Crow attended Minden College and was married to Mr. Sam Patton in 1866. Seven children were born of this marriage. Four lived to be grown. Mr. Patton was Killed by a boiler explosion at his mill. This accident occured in 1879. They lived with her mother in the old home place near Minden until 1889. Then she moved to Terrell, Tex. She had three sons, all are married and have children grown. She was a splended christian woman.
