Graveside services were held here this afternoon at the Pilot Butte cemetery for Laurie B. Redifer, 65, who died Tuesday in a Portland hospital.
Elks were to be in charge of the services in Bend.,The funeral rites were held in Portland this morning.
Mr. Redifer was a former resident of Bend, and for the past 11 years operated a service station in Portland.Born in Douglas County on Dec 6, 1895, Mr. Redifer moved with his parents to Redmond in 1916, coming to Bend from Redmond. He moved to Portland in 1949.
Survivors include two brothers, John C. of Portland, and Robert A. of Sacramento.
Family source says Laurie was a twin , his miirror image twin died."Mirror image" twins is a term used to describe identical twins who share the same DNA however they develop asymmetric features.
