Fern Irene Howe Bellinger was the daughter of James Issac and Ada (Henry) Howe. She married Charles Marion Bellinger on December 30, 1925 in Mason, Ingham Co., MI.
They had three children. Her husband Charles preceded her in death on June 26, 1959. Also a daughter Margaret Esther Bellinger on December 8, 1945 and an infant baby girl in 1946. Fern I. Bellinger, 67, of 3321 Knight, died Sunday in Eaton Rapids Community Hospital after a brief illness. A lifelong resident of the area, she was a member of the Spiritualist Episocpal Church and the Sunshine Rebecca Lodge 142. Surviving are a daughter, Mrs. Beverly McKessey of Eaton Rapids; three brothers, Harry and Harold Howe of Eaton Rapids and Henry Howe of Lansing; four sisters, Mrs. Hazel Sheader, Mrs. Beatrice Brandt, Mrs. Margaret Porter of Eaton Rapids and Mrs. Myrtle Hilliard of Dimondale; and two grandchildren. Funeral services were held Tuesday at 2 p.m. in the Skinner Chapel with burial in Aurelius (Greenwood) Cemetery.
