Bertha Irena Anderson, 91, of Belton passed away on July 8, 2002 at Baptist Lutheran Hospital in Kansas City. Funeral services will be held at 10 a.m. today at E. K. George and Sons Belton Chapel. Burial follows in Garden City Cemetery. She was born on October 29, 1910 in Garden City and had lived in the Belton area all of her life. She attended South Haven Baptist Church. She was employed at Belton Cleaners for 27 years. She was a member of both Belton and Butler Rebekah Lodge and Garden City 4-H Club. She was preceded in death by her husband, Jack. She is survived by her daughter, Sharon Burnam of Belton; sister, Naomi Zimmerman of Belton; uncle, Otto Mainard of Milwaukie, Oregon; three grandchildren; and three great-grandchildren.
