OBITUARY
February 23, 1956 "Cass County Democrat Missourian"
Harrisonville, Missouri
Peter Valentine Zimmerman, son of Adam and Maria (Marquardt) Zimmerman, was born on April 9, 1881 near Harrisonville and passed away on February 16, 1956 at Lakeside Hospital in Kansas City. He married Bertha Ethel Mainard on December 29, 1909 in Kansas City and they were the parents of three children. His son, Roy Adam Zimmerman, died on February 16, 1913. Survivors include his wife; his daughters, Bertha Irena Anderson and Naomi Geneva Zimmerman, both of Belton; his sisters, Lizzie Cummins and Maggie Taylor, both of Harrisonville, and Marie Cole of Roundup, Montana; his brothers, Christian Zimmerman and John Zimmerman, both of Garden City; and a granddaughter. Funeral services were held Sunday afternoon at George Funeral Home conducted by Rev. Monte Peterson. Interment was in Garden City Cemetery.
