Paul E. Ferrell
Paul E. Ferrell, age 59, Kingsport, died December 4, 1983, at Indian Path Hospital after a long illness.
A native of Hawkins County, he was a member of Fellowship Chapel Freewill Baptist Church of Kingsport, and a retired employee of Tennessee Eastman Company.
Ferrell, a veteran of WWII, was well known as a bass vocalist, having sung with several area quartets.
Surviving are his wife, Lorraine Franklin Ferrell, Kingsport; three daughters, Mrs. Larry (Faye) Crawford, Mrs. Ronnie (Patricia) Stewart and Mrs. Wayne (Peggy) Anderson; all of Kingsport; two grandchildren; two sisters, Mrs. Lula Absher and Mrs. Carrie Davis, both of Rogersville; five brothers, Roy Ferrell, of Surgoinsville, George Ferrell of Bulls Gap, Earl, William and Carson Ferrell, all of Rogersville.
Services were held Wednesday, at Fellowship Chapel Freewill Baptist Church with the Rev. Winston Sweeney officiating.
Burial was in the Oak Hill Cemetery.
