Daughter of Archibald Hunt and Manasa Emma Lee Skates. Married John Mitchell Turner, 16 May 1908, Terrell, Kaufman Co., Texas. Mother of Jack, Gean, Glen, Clifford, Helen, Haze, Lillie, Hazel, Walter, Douglas and J.M. Died of pneumonia after surgery to remove a tumor.

Funeral services were to be held at 2:30 o'clock Thursday afternoon at the David T. Peel funeral chapel for Mrs. Evelyn Turner, 40, wife of L.J. [sic, J.M.) Turner of Corpus Christi, who died at a local hospital at 3:30 o'clock Wednesday afternoon after a short illness.

The Rev. Mr. Sanders is to officiate at the funeral. Burial will be in Rose Hill cemetery under direction of Mr. Peel.

She is survived by her husband, five daughters, Gene, Grace, Hazel, Lillie, and J.M. and three sons, Glenn, Clifford and Douglas.
