Married Lora Ann Whitaker, 2 May 1920, Gordon Valley, Smith Co., Texas. They were the parents of Lillian Geneva, and Margaret Lee Hunt.

Corben L. Hunt, long time Terrell resident, died in Mineola Friday afternnon. Funeral services will be held from the Anderson-Clayton Chapel in Terrell at 2 p.m. Sunday with Rev. L.C. Geren officiating. Interment will be in Oakland Memorial Park with his nephews serving as pallbearers.

Corben Lee Hunt was born in Terrell on June 4, 1892. He lived most of his life in and near Terrell where he operated a vegetable stand for many years. He had been a resident of Mineola for the past four years.

He was a member of the Baptist Church.

He was married to Lora Ann Whitaker on Nov. 5, 1920. His wife preceded him in death and he is survived by: two daughters, Mrs. Robert E. Williams of Mineola, and Mrs. Gene Gregory of Irving; 13 grandchildren; 12 great grandchildren; a number of nieces and nephews; and other relatives.
