Mrs. Arch Hunt passed away at the family residence at 11:20 Thursday morning. The funeral service was held at the chapel of Anderson-Clayton Bros. at 2 o'clock Friday afternoon, with Rev. Baker of Dallas conducting the service. Her grandsons served as pallbearers. Interment was made in Oakland Memorial park.

Mrs. Manasie Skates Hunt was a native of Tuscaloosa, Alabama, born September 25, 1862. She came to Texas when a girl 12 years of age. She was married to Arch Hunt February 7, 1888, to which union four children were born, two of whom a son, Prince Albert, and an only daughter, Mrs. Geneva Turner, preceded her in death. Surviving her are her husband; two sons, Wesley and Corben Hunt; all of Terrell; thrity-six grandchildren and two great-grandchildren.

Mrs. Hunt had been a lifelong member of the Baptist church, her membership being with the local church at the time of her passing.
