_____ the Mother of Two Small Children; Died of Typhoid Fever.
~ Mrs. Hattie Robbs Martin, of Holmes street, died lat Saturday evening after an illness of three weeks, of typhoid fever. She is survived by her husband, O'Dell Martin, and two small daughters, Mary, three years of age, and Virginia, seventeen months old, her mother, Mrs. Sallie Robbs, four sisters, Mrs. W.F. Byars, Mrs. Grady Blanton of this county, Mrs. E. Judson Smith of this city, and Mrs. A.C. Bass, of Albany, Ga., also two brothers, Fitzhugh and Floyd, who reside with their mother at the home place near Beaverdam.
~ Mrs. Martin was a faithful member of the Grassy Pond Baptist church until her marriage five years ago, when she transferred her membership, with that of her husband, to the Beaverdam Baptist church. Her father was the late Cleveland Robbs, a well known ex-Confederate soldier, who preceded her the grave several years ago.
~ The funeral will take place at Grassy Pond church this afternoon at 2 o'clock.
