Edward (Ned) was the First child of James Albert and Phebe (Nellie) Ellen (Holliday) Flanagan, and the Grandson of Benjamin Franklin and Mary Jane (Boggs) Holliday. Edward Married Luda A. White, it is unknown when and where they were Married, but together they had two Daughter's, they were, Esther M. Flanagan (Brown), and Phoebe E. Flanagan (Hudler)-(Gregory). Luda his wife died in 1930, in time Edward Married Sarah Valentine Learming (Meyer), she died in 1959, and they did not have any children together. Edward was a former Cicero businessman and Jackson township farmer, he was also a member of the Friends church at Westfield, and a former member of K. of P. and Odd Fellows Lodges. Edward died of a heart attack at his home in Arcadia, Hamilton County Indiana, at the age of 80 years old.
